Aerial Ravers is looking for men and women to join the Street Team! Do you think you have what it takes to be a Street Team member? What exactly is a Street Team? Well, simply read below and if you’re interested in helping him out, we’d like to hear from you! Please read the following FAQ and fill out the form and mail it in to us. We also encourage you to join the forum to communicate to other members and our Team Leaders.

What Is A Street Team?

Street Teams are comprised of groups of fans that join forces to help promote their favorite band in their hometown. Members use promotional materials like Flyers and Posters to give away to people and hang up around town. Additionally, the team spreads the word throughout the online world via related bulletin board postings, encouraging the adding of official web banners to related websites and e-mails.

What do I have to do as a Street Team member?
All we ask is that you reach out to music fans like yourself by promoting Ariel Aparicio. We will be supplying Street Team members with access to a separate web page link, allowing them to access downloadable flyers and/or posters. All you need to do is, when an event comes to your neighborhood make a printout of the flyer, make some Xeroxes and spread the word. We’re hoping to get multiple members from each area (and we mean all 50 states, and any other countries as well!) and when the list is compiled and there is an event in your area, we will put you in touch with other members in your area as well, encouraging everyone to work together.
  • Post Ariel Aparicio News Around The Internet
  • Hang Flyers Around Your Town
  • Call Radio Stations And Record Stores To Request Ariel Aparicio
  • Hand Out Flyers At Shows Of Other Similar Bands

Do I have to pay to become a Street Team member?
No. Becoming a member is 100% free!

How is a Street Team member chosen?
You must be a dedicated Ariel Aparicio fan. We are looking for anyone who has some free time and would be willing to promote Ariel Aparicio. Simply fill out the form at the bottom of this post so we know.

Where are some good places to give away promo materials?
Since you know your hometown better than anyone else, hand out materials at places where people just like you would hang out. In case you’re stumped or are looking for some ideas, here’s a list of places that are great for handing out promo materials:
  • After shows, outside a Club or an Arena
  • Music Retail Stores (Independent Record Stores, Video & DVD Stores) and Music Equipment Shops
  • Lifestyle Shops (Unique Clothing Stores, Army Surplus Stores, Thrift Shops)
  • Bowling Alleys, Amusement Parks
  • Telephone poles (not if it’s illegal! The band can’t afford to be bailing people out of jail…and for the record, are NOT responsible if you end up there on your own!)
  • Gyms or Fitness Centers
  • Coffee Shops
  • Tattoo parlors

Remember to only hang up Flyers and Posters where you have gotten permission to hang them up!

What’s in it for me?
The chance to participate in the excitement of promoting Ariel Aparicio! We also have a number of contests that provide you a chance to win merchandise, autographed items and possibly even a chance to chat with or meet Ariel Aparicio. And we have a point system that you can use to get some prizes!

Is there an E-Team?
All Street Team Members are asked to also promote Ariel Aparicio online. You can do this by posting about him in chat rooms, spreading the word in related message boards, Twitter, etc.

Note: Please do not spam websites with multiple posts or e-mails. These posts/e-mails are usually found annoying and often will be quickly deleted. We do not condone spam!

Do I have to send in feedback?
Yes. Your feedback is extremely important. Let us know what you’ve done, where you’ve done it, whom you’ve met, and their thoughts. You can email your feedback to aerialravers@gmail.com so put it in your address books! We encourage your feedback so that we can keep track of how you’re creating a buzz in your area.

Are there any Street Team Rules?
Yes.
  1. You are a representative of Aerial Ravers. While doing illegal acts may be fun, it’s not a good idea. We’re not your mother, we can’t bail you out.
  1. Promoting at a venue/event is to be done before and after but never DURING a performance as it is disrespectful to the performer.
  1. No arguing/fighting at events. We are all here for the same purpose.
  1. All collateral provided to you is to be given out freely. It may NOT be sold. DO NOT sell your materials anywhere – this includes on eBay or any other auction website.
  1. Some stores or venues may have rules against handing out materials on their property. In addition, it is against the law to affix stickers or posters to public or private property. Please do not do this without asking for permission first.
  1. When you promote you must inform us so that we can keep track of your work. You must upload the picture in order to receive credit for the promo.

Note: By not following the rules we have the right to disqualify you from your position as a team member.

What are the ranks?
Captain: A Captain is a member of Ariel Aparicio’s fan community who is more actively involved than most. They will be broken into regions (Chicago, New England, etc.) and counted on to help with promotions & other tasks which sometimes pop up in the Aerial Raver’s world.

Lieutenant: A Lieutenant is a member that reports to the Captains. They are more actively involved in helping the Captain to organize events. They also become acting Captains when a Captain is not available.

Raver: You…someone who goes to the street teaming events to hand out flyers, or make calls, or find venues. You report to the Lieutenants, who report to the Captains.

How do I get promotional materials to hand out?
Flyers are found here and here.:
